3 bar map sensor - Hurricane

I'm running the Hurricane bundle of tunes. I'm running the Turbosmart BOV valve as well and am wondering if I should get the 3 bar map sensor. Only ran the 270 tune this year but will run the 290 next when I can get the fuel. (or add Torco)

Bringing this back to the top. It's unclear to me when I need to run this sensor and what the impact is. Anyone?

The three bar sensor will provide more accurate boost display on dash as well as make some boost safety protection available

Is the three bar map sensor a must for the 290 tune? I was under the impression that the 270 and 290 tunes made the same boost pressure so it was not needed.

I have not ran mine on the 290 tune yet but would like to this winter.

Not the same tune need to update tune to 3 bar map sensor, i made this mistake.
