the f10 yes , the rev 1000 is the same as the rev 800 its coming out at the end of this month what they call mid season sleds
as for the f10 it looks just like the f7 and the f6
i have seen 2 as of yet at some of the races i have been at and its a real arctic cat sled not a psi motor or hooper or d&d or black magic
its from cat ...
and its gose like hell .... this is my last year with rx1 . nomore
i will only have 2 yamahas in my shop next year monster and viper

i race not trail ride so winning is very importan to me so got to go with what wins , i been with yamaha since 1992 with the big fat v4
and there time has come to pass the torch ..

WHy would you DUMP all that money into a turbo and motor mods only to sell it one year later?????

So what's your best guess to what these are?

My guess all use the same basic motor a 750 Tripple(3/4 of the RX-1) motor, this makes sense and you save weight, have parts commonality and save cost as you save one exhaust header, one carb, one cyclinder, piston etc..

The RS Vector, Venture and Mountain are traditional and based off the RX-1 Chasis.

The RS RAGE is a new big bump REV style chasis with hopefully a more agressive tune on the motor.

All use a new 15" inch travel rear suspension.

The rage weighs 75 lbs. less than an RX-1 (25 lbs less motor weight, 20 lbs savings in the skip and another 30lbs from the chasis. In reality they should be able to get it down to 500-510 real weight, vs 575-580 RX-1 real weight.

This is all my guesses. I don't think we will see EFI either based on comments from a Yamaha REP at the Toronto boat show.

That would seem to make sense as for the motor. Your thoughts on the sleds would seem to right on also.

I wonder what the rear skid will look like. A long travel version of the Proaction or something completely new? I can't wait to see the pictures.

Are you saying an f10 is beating up on a stage 2 turbo? what the fu....... is up w/that,how much power does the f10 have anyway. Have you heard any rumors about cats BIG NEW 4-STROKE TURBO 170+ HP. YET. :lol:

no , and in a sanction race the turbos are not alowed to run . they can only run in out law classes . and there is not too many of those ..
as for it kicking #*$&@ yes it dose ......

welter racer ... that is how it works with me . i can spend lots of money in a sled one year and sell it that same year or i can keep it..
its only money they print more of it every day ..

hey cowboy there is and only was 6 recals on the f7 and the f5 and the f6
i dont know were you get some of your info . i have a f7 and all the letters from cat since i got my f7 the day they came in at the dealer .

and hum yamaha rx1 had some too . but they dont spend the money like poo and cat to recall all the probs , they make us buy the fix . like links and bar, and few others.

rx1 has had 4 to 5 recalls since been out i have all the letters too.
so realy what is your point here about recalls ..
