4th Annual McCall Ride!!

Ray

We'll be out your way the 17th-23rd. Leaving for McCall the 16th. I guess there will be no long distance award for me! Its a 10 hour drive for us. I'd like to hook up for a couple of rides, if you don't mind riding with a 2 smoke Yammy with Cat parts!

Spray sounds fun more info please!!!

One word of caution though; There is an old local fable about a wild herd of of riderless Polaris's that come out on foggy days and look for sledders to run over. Many witnesses claim that they have been riding up a slope in the fog only to have a near miss with these evil reiderless creatures!!

That right there is funny; I don't care who you are. It's even funny to me and I had to pay for the repairs :o|. Ray one question though; Is "reiderless" the German equivilent of the English word "riderless" :tg: . I didn't know you were bi-lingual in addition to an empolyee of "the family".

You are most definately welcome to join us. The new house has double ovens so there won't be a wait for breakfast this time!!

Breakfast was well worth the wait!!
Your new house, is it in the same general area?

So far we have 8 with a possible 9th going to McCall. Since we are a larger group this year, not sure if all of us are going on the TY rides yet. Pretty sure there will be at least 3-4 though.

:bump: I figured I'd bring this back to the top for you Ray. Hopefully Tura will get he college out of the way so we can make it back out the in time for the 6th Annual ride. I'll definately be bringing a GPS unit with the area logged in to make sure you don't lead the whole group on a "fog induced game of dodge the ghost rider". :moon:

It's actually a fun game when it's not your sled.

Unless your the ones staring back at said ghost rider. Just ask Christie if she thought it was fun for that split second as the RMK came careening down the mtn at her. I was affraid for my life when I locked up the brakes as it headed straight at me only to veer away at the last moment then; as I turned to watch it head for Christie, I was affraid for her life(and the mtn max's) before seeing it veer away again. Beyond her it disappeared into the fog.

My exact words to Tura as she walked/slid down the hill past me was "God I hope that sled didn't hit anybody that is below Christie". Knowing the only thing damaged was the RMK and a few unsuspecting sapplings (and their bigger brother) it's a funny story. That initital 5 minutes until you helped me get turned around and I saw nobody was hit by it though; were very nerve racking for me.

Yes, that was not a pretty sight. All I remember is looking over and seeing a red streak going about 40+mph down the mountain......w/no rider. I guess we can all look back and be thankful no one was injured.

Finally getting some more snow.

Tonight: Snow. Snow accumulation 3 inches. Probability of measurable precipitation 90 percent. South wind 15 mph. Low 32

Tuesday: Snow showers. Snow accumulation 3 inches. Probability of measurable precipitation 100 percent. South wind 14 mph. High 33.

Wednesday: Snow showers. Snow accumulation 5 inches. Probability of measurable precipitation 80 percent. South wind 17 mph. High 36.

I just edited my original post on page one to include a list of participants. Let me know if I missed you.

Spray count me in I would love to try out a new area I will bring at least 1 maybe 3 other boosted Yami guys with me. Where should I call to get a motel room?

Thanks Jason.
