2255 miles on original belt so far, lots of lake runs, jumps and plain old beating on her.

1500 miles on my original belt, belt still looks great. Measured the width last night, 1,360".
I have two brand new belts ready to use. One measures 1.375" and the other measures 1.385" new. Looks like some variation in new belts.
Going to install the 1.385" belt for this weekend, looking for max top speed. We are doing Radar runs in Paradise Mi. at their Marty Grais.

Deep snow running? Possibly need lower gearing if you are running alot of deep snow with the 1.75" track you have.
I added a small washer to the tip to get the RPM down, now its at 9-9100 on long pulls so a little more wieght is needed. I have one tooth lower gear. I run a mix of drift-deep snow and hard pack trail.
What's your secondary set at?

It should be between 60 or 70 degrees, which is 3-3 or 6-1, unless Ulmer told you other wise...
Find out for sure and the next time you are out and you do some good powder riding or long hard pulls, then feel your primary and secondary and tell us which one is hotter.

sounds like clutch is slipping . Next time out check the heat in the clutches with your hand they should be the same temp or real close if one is hotter than the other then it has to be ajusted . Add weight or less weight or spring presure in sec. add more or a little less
