This is the driveshaft bearing located below the secondary clutch. Mine lasted 6,760 miles without being greased and it only spent 1 summer in storage. What year is your sled?

I would recommend changing it as it has sat for 2 summers. Mine showed no signs of failure other than about 2 minutes before it failed. My belt squeeled when I took off because it was having a hard time turning the track.

Here is my step by step on RE-GREASE of jack and drive shaft bearings,lots of pics....
as REX said,probably good to REPLACE after 3000 or so....im over 6000 now myself so i think this summer it will get ALOT of TLC....new bearings and Y pipes,and maybe even a chain,some new clutch springs,some idlers ect ect.......lots to keep up with when you have a motor that lasts many thousands of miles..

...or, you can just bring them to a bearing supplier and get new ones for about $12 each.
