I installed and Sled-Start Grizzly HID kit. The biggest thing is finding a place to stuff all the wires. From the pics shown you will see that I mounted the ballast on the side fender flats. Once you remove the outer rubber boot on the lights housings and the inner rubber boot you will then need to remove each bulb and place the new HID bulbs in the housing. You only will need one plug to power the HID kit so you can remove the other and tape it off. Each inner rubber will need to be cut open to remove the plug and allow the new HID wires through. I then applied silicone to them to prevent water from entering.
If mounting ballast on fender sides be sure to keep them down about an 1/8" from fender edge.
Also I you can see the way I mounted these leaves it open for my Power Commander V to be placed on the bar on the left.

I will try to add some photos with the covers on and the lights on at a later date.
