Thunder,
Last year on my stock 04 Warrior I was quicker than the following sleds that I rode with: 02 MXZ 700, 04 Viper with mods, 02 Pro X 800 Polaris, 02 MXZ 800 and I was even with an 04 Rev 800 HO.
Can't complain for stock This year I did some clutching changes and added the special NGK spark plugs. looking to gain acceleration and 12 MPH on top end

When I beat my buddy I was completely stock...actually the sled was only about 2 or 3 weeks old. His wasn't exactly modified, but he is a tuning geek and had clutched and jetted the best he could for lake drags. He may have even done more, but I don't know...hes pretty quiet about what he does. He just put N0x on in an attempt to keep up with his brother's new Mach, and only me and one other guy know about it...hes keeping it secret so he can try to B.S. his brother into thinking his sled is a slug. I heard this from the only other guy who knows, who runs a ZR900, and he just installed a big bore kit so he can help with the illusion. I almost wish I had some good power gains so I could beat him with the "1-ton" as he always calls it. If I beat him, I guarantee his sled would have a for sale sign on it the next day.

As I said in my post [ first 80 miles on a 4-stroke ] With 85 miles on my new RX-1, no studs and showroom stock. I had my brother run it vs. a 02 xc 700, with twin pipes - clutching - air mods - 192 studs - jetted for out side temps. He would get my sled in the hole shots, but by 500 ft my RX-1 would start to pull him in. by 660 ft we was dead even, and mine was still pulling on him. With only 85 miles on it we had to stop ther. I cant wait to see how my RX-1 will run with 3 - 400 miles on it with 144 studs, and a "CPR" air and clutch kit ...

The 700 Polaris is lazy on the bottom and mid range....but not too bad on the top.
They run about 106 on the gun in 2000 ft.
Give him a head start you will still beat him.
