My g/f bought me a pair of Billet Alminum dagger wheels and offset billet axle for my RTX.
I still need to get the 8" plastic inners.
Anything else I will need?
Bearings,anything?

I should get them next week and I dont want any downtime, would like to take out the skid and install.
Ill post pics when Im done as well.
Any info is appreciated.

Bad Idea on 121'' tracks, snowtech did a test on this, When larger diameter wheels are installed on shorter tracked sleds there are often problems with varying track tension. In some cases, sleds will tighten the track so much through the suspension travel that it becomes a limiting factor in the total travel, adding the larger wheels provides no measurable gains on shorter track sleds, ice and snow stick to aluminum wheels more often, adding larger wheels to shorter track sleds should be carefully reconsidered. (snow tech).

what axle did you get? bearings should be installed in the wheels but you might want to double check from where you got them.i run just 2 inside 8" but i have a freedom offset axle.

as for snow buildup i havent had one ounce stick to mine.wish i could say the same for the rest of the suspension.there are gains if you use the right axle's and wheels.

if you need soem 8" plastic i have them for $20 each.shipping would be $7 on 2.thanks

Allot of guys are finding out through tests done, that the BIG WHEEL deal is no help in achieving better performance. Case in point, Wahl Bro's just sponsored our own project sled http://2koolperformance.ca/forum/index. ... wtopic=809 and we could have had anything, as far as product.. we opted for the OEM diameter wheels, as you'll see in the project build on page 8

Best of Luck!
