JUST KIDDING! :moon:

Stuff saved my bacon, could only get 87 like I suspected so I dumped a can of torco in it (32oz) and rode all day no issues.

This stuff worked great and you can get 2 cans in the stock apex seat trunk with room to spare.

Any boosted trail riders that like to backpack like me will appreciate this, best for emergency only cause it would be expensive to set the sled up to run on it but $20-30 a can is a CHEAP way to save a engine when you get in bad gas.

BTW SC sled ran 500 miles and was perfect. What a machine!

This stuff is the real deal. Every boosted trail rider should keep at least 1 can handy. $30 is cheap insurance vs the price of a top end rebuild!

What did you have to do to tune for this?

I assume nothing, as it's not a regular octane booster as others are, it's a race fuel concentrate.
It does boost octane to safe levels, and reliable.
It also comes in 5 gallon cans as well, cheaper if you want to use it all the time with say 94 octane and get you in the 100 octane mark.

mbarryracing - sorry typed wrong I set mine up for 91 but I know some guys may want to ask how they set up theres to use 91 plus this and run 105 octane all the time ie more boost but that would get spendy. Its best left as emergency use IMO.

Its funny the cans are LIGHT almost feels like air in there. You will need a pliers to open the can there is a seal on it and I had a hell of time with it.

Just ordered some

I am pulling the meth injection off my sled as by the time the tank is full and everything I am adding 16+lbs to the front of a already front heavy sled. I am going to try the accelerator. I have seen quite a few good reviews on it. And price wise if I like it and order a 5 gallon pail it still makes the gas under 4.50 a gallon easily. And not having to carry 5 gallons jugs or drums all over the place is nice.

Funny I started installing my meth kit until it was also pointed out to me that I'd be carrying around all that extra weight just to have the ability to run over 16 lbs boost when 99% of the time I'd be running 12# on the trail and it wouldn't be used anyhow?

Very very good point.

Heck if your only running 1% of the time at 16lbs just use this torco.

It makes me happy to know it worked for me and I have a safety net now as that was my biggest fear going boosted and trail riding the way I do.

yep

No bought the meth/water is a great way to go but after riding the sled I would rather have less weight and turn the boost down a bit. For the type of riding I like to do.

Alot to be said for "just gas and go"...

Yes. . . yes

Definately. I would say I would not mind being able to run big boost but I don't like paying alot of money for fuel and then having to haul it around. If I could pull up to the pump and get 110 octane anywhere for 6 bucks or more a gallon i would probally run it! But that is not going to happen. I will try the torco for now. Just need to figure out a way to carry it in the sled without it breaking open.

I hear ya... my goal this season was to tune for 18 lbs on pump with meth for the trail, reality is that I can't even use my current 12 on the trails here in WNY and even then it will beat anything I come across. I don't know what I was thinking, the response on clutching to hold back 18 lbs is terrible too.
I have folded on the conclusion that it would be a very different story if i was climbing high altitude chutes and not ripping down flatland woods trails... I'll spash in good fuel and different clutching for shootouts etc.
Suppose to dyno tomorrow, would be interesting to try some Torco additive in my pump gas but not sure I'm ready to risk taking out a head gasket in an experiment this point in the riding season. Maybe this spring?

Do it for everyone! See how the torco works. I am assuming your going to a good dyno shop that can get you shut down at the shear second it would denotate.

Yes, Dynotechresearch. They do have the deto stethoscope but the risk at this time is too great. I am tuning for the AJA636's Big Moose shootout in Old Forge next weekend and can't hurt the motor now, waiting too long now for a shot at that free burger. LOL!

But I'll be going back to tune the meth injection, that would be the perfect time to test an additive (without meth of course) because if I smoke a motor i have the whole summer to rebuild. ;)!
