Granted this is a place to find and help with problems but, really. If a person was thinking about a Viper and came to this site would say hell no, what a piece of junk. Some people write every little problem they are having and post it. Then other people go over there's and post there little problems and so on. No matter what sled and all makes there are problems! If it's a big issue then that's different but, all these little problems make this Viper look like it's crap. Little bolts strip and plastic panels don't fit perfect and so on...the Viper is faster than we all thought and it handles really good after some time with set ups. It jump great and goes through the powder good. It's a great looking sled and tons of upgrades. A tuners dream! But let's get over all the little stuff and just fix it. If there is some major problems we want to hear about it. Or potential big problems, not a stripped bolt... :o|

Unless someone added oil, you don't need to take the cap off you can see it through the glass on the oil tank.

I'm with you bro, its getting stupid now every little thing is getting posted I just sit and laugh , then go ride ,600 miles and no problems at all

Same here, over 1000 miles and adjust here and there try this set up or change the set up, but never complain about little things and just ride it and beat the hell out of her then bring it in the garage warm it up melt the ice off het grease it up and beat her again! Just have fun and enjoy your investment! If you complain about what you bought its kind of like making fun of yourself. I know I don't have a picture of it but I flew through the air, I was around 10 feet in the air and flew around 25 feet and landed on flat ground and it didn't bottom and it landed pretty smooth. I was thinking while I was in the air, this is going to hurt. But I didn't it was awesome so I did it a few more times.

That's why I posted, mine is as perfect as I can tell. How many are out there now? My serial number is just over 1000, are there a couple thousand out there? If so what do we have for ACTUAL recall kind of issues? Any? The reverse issue sounded like dealers topping off fluid and getting reverse solenoid in wrong, but I could be mistaken. But my best was the guy trashing Cat and Yamaha because his handlebars were loose. Those are put on by the dealer.

This is an amazing sled that I believe is a game changer for 4 strokes...time will tell.

LOL! I was smoking across a powder field that was chopped up some by sleds and came across a big depression/hole in the snow. Going to fast to stop so I grabbed on and gritted my teeth knowing that my Nytro would plow into it and BOOM, and I sure didn't want to trash the girlfriends new Viper with less than 25 miles on it. SAILED across the hole that the Nytro would have certainly had me come up hurt and all I could do was SMILE!

This chassis is AWSOME

Right on, ya surprising how much better this thing handles than the Nytro. I loved my Nytro and it took a beating but, the Viper handles really good. Like I say all else fail give her the berries! ;)!

Lol.....I jumped a driveway today landed on the other side and hit a stump and crushed the exhaust pip , she didn't want to run to good on the way home but we made it , it was only 10 miles , o-well #*$&@ happens .... ;)!

You got that right ;)! I can ride this sled way better than the nytro
But I never loved my nytro ;)!

You can fix the exhaust tip. It took a lot of work but, I finally got my Nytro where I wanted it. So it handled pretty good and jump ok. But the Viper is a big improvement! :-o

Mine is dented already too. We need some kind of skid for it like the older cats had. I wonder if cutting it at a angle would help a little?
