2012 Apex XTX 2017 Sidewinder LTX-LE
Just finished the install of MPI super charger on my 2012 apex XTX and I need a little knowledge on what I am reading on the A/F gauge. is higher numbers leaner or richer? What is happening is when I hit the throttle the guage spikes up around 19 and it is lacking power.

Higher number is leaner.. lower is richer..
19 is way to lean.. cruising at 12.5 to 13 and WOT is 11.8 to 12

thanks mostlikely why she is dogging when she starts to build boost will need to dial in the GEMS now.

Richen it up fast! It will run pig rich (like 10.0) so don't be afraid to start rich and work your way back to lean. 19.0 is way way way to lean.

only road it around the yard and knew it was no good so I shut her down only able to snap throttle long enought to lift skis and hear blow off valve when i let off so she should be okay and at idle she was around 11.9-12.6

is it okay to be around high 11 to low 12's when at idle? I set my gems just like Kinger has in his signature now i need to know what adjusts what when i get her on the open trail. we are heading up to muni for 10 days leaving thursday night I would love to have a little guide as to what setting to change for what rpm range and what not on the gems I dont know if there is suposed to be a user guide for the controller but mine didnt come with one and MPI so far has not got back to me on it.

Idle you can be as high as 13 to 13.5, cruising at low boost it would be ideal to be at 12.5 ish and then WOT 11.8 to 12

This thing is not working correctly when I hold a steady throttle it runs smoothly then falls on its face then smooth then falls again afrs are in up down up down when it falls it shoots up to 17 and smooth is 11-12 afr I have the gems almost maxed out and idle is around 10 if I keep flicking the throttle it's okay wide open it is perfect everything in between is up down up down

Most likely you lost your boost line that feeds your gems. Unless your gems took a #*$&@.

Boost line is good gems took a crap you still up here anyone got a pcv with them for some reason. That's all I need to turn the boost back on

Its not as easy as just plugging a PCV in. You need to set pressures and get the correct map for your boost...

Map is easy download thou correct I know I'm at about 6 lbs of boost maybe ulmer can send me one all loaded
