Hey everyone,

I am looking to buy a new sled this year, I have rode Nytros, Attak's, and Phazers. The quad's and triples are just more machine than I am looking for.

My last sled was a 96 Vmax 600. Bone stock except some minor clutching.

So to get something with similar pull I was looking at getting a Phazer GT and bumping it up a little. It felt great on the test drive, just seems to need "a little more" oomph.

So from what I can see the Aaen single pipe is claiming the highest HP gain. And when you calculate horsepower per dollar, it is actually the cheapest (and lightest)

I just haven't heard much about it, YES or NO... I would expect it would be a noticeable difference...right?

I also trust the name, Aaen has been around for longer than I have been alive, you can't last that long if you're not good at building pipes....if Aaen were making bogus claims they'd be ruined a long time ago.

I see a bunch of people fitting their own pipes, but I want a simple bolt-on, and I haven't seen a lighter pipe anywhere.

So what does anyone think?

I was thinking of using the Aaen pipe, along with an Ulmer clutch kit or the Schmidt Stage II kit that has the overdrive built in. If it really works, I'd shell out the extra 120 bucks or so for another 4 or 5 mph.

Thanks, and I have so far got a lot of what I need to know about the Phazer from this site!
