AAR (after action review) Grafton 100 race weekend

I took apart the left front last night and measured everything. I was expecting a couple of bent control arms, but both seem to be fine. The spindle is bent pretty good and the ski is wrecked. With the list price on a spindle near $250 and a set of skis, which I needed anyways, at $300 for a set, I will probably forgo the I-500 and get ready for Red Lake later this month.

I have a set up stock skis. I probably have a usable left front spindle not perfect but I ran it in a race or two last year

Would you be willing to part with a left front spindle spare that you have? What would you want for it with shipping? I think I have a lead on a set of aftermarket skis. Still running some numbers and coming up with funding for the 500.

What sled are you running in the 500 this year?

I am running the 09 stock sled I bought I am still putting the Motor in the mod

Yea the spindle is at my parents house have to go take it off. they are fast to change we can change it before tech at the 500
