My father was bringing his sled to my house before our trip to Rangeley when a car in the oncoming lane lost control and smashed into his car and trailer. Everyone was fine and amazingly the sled is untouched. They had to load the trailer onto two flat-beds for removal and disposal. We were determined to go ahead with our trip so I picked up his sled with my trailer and as soon as the accident report was done we continued onto Rangeley and had a great trip.

It's strange. When I pulled up to the accident and saw his trailer I assumed his sled was totaled. But when we removed the wreckage around it we found that nothing was touching the sled. There literally isn't so much as a scratch.

He's bummed about his trailer though. It was one of those tilt trailers that opens at both ends. He likes that style but there aren't many around.
