No issue here sorry for distracting your thread.
I will say though I hope the 18's have better quality control through yammie I have had Alot of issues with my sidewinder. It is fast yes and is snappy on the trail. I have a ltx le and is a very stiff ride. And I can say the stiff seat is less than to be desired for. Had to put 5.7 pilots on so it would steer . No dart and very light now. So just saying it's a sled that will have problems and will need upgrades. And it is 20k to get it in your garage, so it's well ......what it is lol all depends on what your willing to spend

I agree. i try to balance the fact that i have a first year model so not everything will be perfect. however if they don't fix the known issues on the 18's, i'd have some beef with that. here's hoping they do and they guys buying new ones can benefit from the research and development that the guys with 17's have done!

- shopping, blew up my 07 MachZ1000
Ordered my blue LTX-LE today. Part of what's described here is set up of the suspension (which is exactly why its adjustable) to suit different weights, driving styles and preferences. Shock valving is an art, preload/spring adjustment. Same goes for "rider days" you can't bring a demo sled out tuned for both horse jockey and the 6'4" 280 lbs guy. It's just math. read up on it, do it, adjustments are free, get all you can there, then start throwing the money at it with pics skis and carbides if it suits you.

As far as setting up suspension. I'm totally fine with that. Sounds like I won't regret the decision. I am going to the snowcross finals in lake Geneva in 2 weeks so I can check out the sleds while I'm there. Hopefully the mountain sweet will be okay for trail riding. What do you all think about sticking with the 137 vs going 141. As stated 75-80% wil be on trails in northern wi or in Michigan.
