How can we not believe that AC will be building a whole new sled platform with Yamaha for 2017 or 2018 after reading this article...my money is on a new chassis that they share with completely different plastics for each brand.
Yamaha has already launched a new high-rev engine in their new YXZ side-by-side that can easily be put in a sled with appropriate clutching. Chris Reid talks about all new clay mold designs from Yamaha's new designer in his blog. Things are happening.
***or this whole thing is for their new snow-bike.

I had read the article about their expansion. Which was ditching the current headquarters and relocating the whole headquarters in a new location. That was a smart move because the building they are moving into is 5 times the size they are going from 11,000 sqft. to 55,000sqft. Which will allow them to everyone located under one roof and really unites their think tank. So instead of indirectly communicating now they can physically bounce ideas off each other. I think they needed to do this especially with the partnership with Yamaha and now their endeavor with the snow bike. They were obviously overflowing in their current location and were outdated. This headquarters change, the prototype snowbike, and the other news and rumors going on with AC right now. They will be the company to watch in the next couple years. I believe they may blow polaris out of the water in the coming years. I also believe the production of this snowbike was an obviously counter to Polaris buying out Timbersled. Arctic Cat wants to get the hold on the growing snow bike world before Polaris does.
