I'm riding in an area that is prone to winter thaws. The season is short enough as it is and this only makes it worse. I'm looking for a radiator/fan setup that could be added that would allow a machine to run in very low and/or no snow situations. It's not that I'm trying to run in the dirt but I want to option to go out for a short rip (20 miles) if there is no snow on the ground. I remember seeing Yamaha's at the snow shows when the 4 strokes first came out. They had a small test area and they were riding in no snow all day long. Does anyone make or have the plans for setting up something like this?
I know it's a strange setup but it could be fun. I'm not concerned about maintenance items as they can always be replaced. I just want something that can keep it running at the proper temperature. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Check out Barn of Parts sled salvage, @hibshman25 is a TY advertiser and has a dual fan kit available for the Nytro. I ran one years ago and had no overheating issues, my buddies stock sled would pop the “hot light” on a pretty regular basis.

I have the BOP dual fan kit and in 7,000 miles riding with it in all kinds of snow conditions, my temp light has never come on. I am running with a Trail Tank and a shimmed fan bracket, FYI......... G.B.

Keeping your engine cool is only half the problem. You will absolutely melt your hyfax to the rails in low snow. Scratchers will help, but still need something to scratch.
