I have a AEM digital Air fuel ratio gauge installed on my supercharged Nytro. it was showing between 11.5 and 13.5 depending on what speed I was running for weeks. The issue is yesterday it started showing 14-15-16 even flashed 17 and a few straight - - - dashed on the screen. im thinking it must be a gauge issue and not the sled. I sure hope it didn't run that lean. anyone have any pointers or know what could be the issue, maybe it is my GEMS controller but if the sled really reached 17 I cant see it being drivable after a couple miles. wouldn't the motor be toast if I did actually reach a value of 17

Likely the o2 censor. --- is max lean and would likely make it stumble/miss. Did you run any race fuel in it? The censor's don't like the lead to much.

Thanks for your reply, I didn't use any race gas. Just 91 octane and very small smount of Lucas octane booster. Im thinking its the sensor as well. Because I haven't made any changes to the sled as for fuel or the gems programmer. Is there anything I can check that would actually make the sled go that lean ? just for peace of mind. I still want to ride it. It was tuned when the gauge worked, so it still should be fine. hopefully

Fury, might be unrelated but I had a fuel gauge n my nytro that acted same way, all over the place and --- like you mentioned. My problem was in the gauge harness, broken wire. Worth a look!

best and easist way to test it is to do this
there is a link in the nytro faq section that is supposed to go to a similar video but that youtube vid doesnt work anymore. @MrSled do you think you can fix the link to a new one?
