I want to get a set of bars, probably renthal but I'm kinda stuck with what I need to do to keep my stock hand warmers. So how do I got about keeping the stock grips on there? like their is a rivet holding them on so should I drill a hole in my new bars and rivet them or would some good ol grip glue work? and ofcourse keep the warmers in good working condition.

The stock grips are glued on I had a hard time geting them off I had to cut them off. So I had to buy new grips. I got mine form RSI and the hi power grip heater elements.

Thanks. I'm sure a little compressed air will get the grips off.

If you get them off with compressed air you may be the first in history. I changed out the ones on my Nytro last year and there was no way to cleanly remove. Some ethol methol bad stuff might do the trick but it may also damage the material. Good luck. If you go with the RSI make sure to glue them on, I just put them on with air and they would slowly work their way off, ended up burning up an element, I think because of the twisting and rubbing from the grip slipping.

How hard is it to wire up these heating elements? What exactly do you have to do?
