Aftermarket Exhaust!!??

The video wouldn't come up just now, but if it's the one I'm talking about, the guy is just riding in circles around the camera, revving it constantly. That's when it's the loudest on my sled. If you like the bark, rev it all the time. Mine is probably just as quiet at a cruise speed as the stock pipes, and only bark when you want them to. If you are looking for pipes, and want to keep the dual exits, Bender is the only way to go IMO.

I like the Excell and how it sounds. I guess its all in your opinion. I like the single through the back too...its something different, haha.

My 2 cents

good thing about the excell....it can be easily repacked and depending on the packing will change the sound..

the packing will slide out as a fiberglass core.....the packing is like angel hair pasta that has melted together...
with no packing it would be very loud

EXCELL

niceeee, haha.

From what I hear the Excell exhaust is the way to go. Thats what I'm buying at least.

Thanks for all the imputs guys...

John

The last I spoke withe the guys at Bender, they were working on a new web site. I bought mine through my Yammi dealer, and was actually cheaper than buying direct (+/- $5.......)!
I have (716) 941-5840 for Bender, I think the number is still good. I've had it saved in my cell phone for a couple years now!

Do you have to do anything with the fuel if you install an Excell?

I installed an Excell and it stumbles down low when snapping the throttle real fast wide open. I did the pod adjustment and went up to +25 and I still had the stumble. I since purchased the PowerCommander from Ulmer but haven’t had an opportunity to run it yet so I can’t tell you if that solved the problem or not. I will post the results after the snow flies this winter.

Mrance, which AirBox mod do you have? Fix?

Mrance did you have the air box done before or after the exhaust?Just wondering if that could be the problem with the stumble. Also did you have any trouble with any of the plastic melting. My break light seems like it's to close to the muffler.
