I just bought 30 fasteners from Hartman Inc. He had 1000 made due to the machining of the plastic washer. He is selling them for $1.00 each. I was told I am the first one to order them and he has lots left.
LB could you tell me a little about your gearing and where you got it. I was wounder about the performance gains. Any info would be great. Thanks.

They work like a champ! They look just fine, you can only see one, and the fit is perfect. The one that you can see gives it a bit of a H1 look, blends in well. Great tip

LB-- is that a revese gear? How much are they? Looking for a 42 reverse gear.

LB, I'm not far behind you now, I am running 22/39 for a ratio of 1.77 vs your 1.83. I haven't really had the conditions to go WFO long enough to tell if I have lost any top end, but it looks promising. Botton end is certainly promising and the Ulmer Stage III clutching should allow enough of an overdrive to compensate for the lower gearing.

Thanks.
Just talked to him......said he has 400 left......and won't do another run because of low sales and the "minimum run" requirement of the machine shop.I just bought 30 fasteners from Hartman Inc. Yes, reverse. It was about $100. Requires slight modification to the reverse gear for clearance.culvert said:LB-- is that a revese gear? How much are they? Looking for a 42 reverse gear.

I have replaced several of these with allen head bolts from "Lowes" of all places! They came complete with rubber/steel washers and were blackend out so as not to seem so flashy. Look in their metric section.
