And I challenge you to get a stock 600 to get much over 100. They all struggle once they start seeing triple digits. Most people complaining are trying to race 700 and 800 classes. As I've stated before, my stock viper fresh out of the box would out run an Apex to 70MPH. After that its all over and Apex wins. I dare you to find a stock 600 that can do that. Fix the viper clutch and you will see 100 with little issue and you will spank the other 600s and 700s on the way there.Well the viper is a 600 class sled
As for the 85MPH issue, 600 XTC Deluxe only did about 85MPH. Dreamometer said low to mid 90s but it was lying! The new fuel injected engines are making more HP/displacement than my 17 year old engine, but they still struggle to get past 100.

3:04 110MPH by the end of that race. I never caught him.
This one shows a totally different result against a bunch of 800's. You must have some issues with that apex...

2019 sidewinder xtx le, sleeping for now
Was wondering why we are watching a bunch of doo's, Yamaha needs to put that motor into something that resembles the viper/rider forward position. This one shows a totally different result against a bunch of 800's. You must have some issues with that apex...

Don't tell me that.... Although I did have the track changed last year and new studs as well as exup adjust. Appeared to be better after that. I'll have to give her a great tune up this year. Need donuts new drive bearing exup adjust etc this year.... Hopefully be good as new and perhaps faster.

Excellent video. I only recognized Roquemont. Maybe TQ73/355.3:04 110MPH by the end of that race. I never caught him.

I don't see a 2 stroke model out of the question with the cat partnership. The only question would anything be yamaha besides the colors

What's wrong with your apex man? We would ride side by side dead even with every stock 800 we rode with on stock apex's before the viper, never had an 800 pull away from either of our apex's like that, maybe a ski length at most if it was poorer conditions.

I had an 800 doo and a gps that was always on my dash. It would hit 115 on the speedo on the lake all the time. Never over 95 on the GPS. I have buddies with new doos that talked a big game about top speed. I had them put the gps in their pocket and reset the top speed. None of them went over 107mph. Speedo said 120 or so. My yamaha is always within 1 mph no matter how fast I'm going. Hit 114 last year. Regeared and had Ulmer machine the clutches. Looking for 125+ this year on the ice. If I can ever find any........
