Nope, it didn't seem like it even slowed the temp down (climbing to 200*).
I would always have to shut it off.
So fan comes on and it continues to rise in temp? How many minutes at idle with factory fan until temp light would come on? Guess the factory fan isn't as strong as I thought and my small fan used on the air diversion is no different than the factory fan. Temps slowly continue to rise when my fan kicks in, but I assumed temps would rise some due to fan being much smaller.

Yup, when the factory fan comes on its way past recovery. It'll just keep rising. Not sure on time, but it's quick.

Did your temp light ever come on? I agree it rises quick after good run and stopped but never have seen temp light myself. Ever.

Last summer we were clutching with wheels on at around 90+ degrees and the fan would come on and cool it down, makes me wonder if you have something wrong.

Nope never let it get that hot, where the light would come on.
Sting, idk running down the trail all three of our Vipers would be in the 160-165* and if we stopped, would get hot enough to kick the fans on. And wouldn't ever cool them down from 205ish, it would slow down in the rate rising but not stop. 2 are MPI trail kits and one is bone stock 1100 miles.

OHHHhhhh....yeah that. I am sorry I thought you meant the temp kept rising even with the fan on until you had to shut it off or blow water.

Thats what I thought also. Just let it idle it will eventually cool down. Best though is after a good hard run to just take it easy in good snow till it gets cool. Kind of like with quads and bikes after a big hillclimb is best to just turn around and coast down using engine as brake since by time you get to bottom engine is cooled off. Never stop at top and just sit there looking at view if it was getting hot on way up.

If the fan is on just drive it or shut it off. I noticed if i'm stopped where the fan come on the best thing to cool it back down is drive! Once you take start moving the temp is right back to normal in about 1 minute

I am still testing waiting for some warm weather riding but I have not experienced any negatives with having fan reversed. The steam now comes out the radiator. My google bag is not as warm but still a little warmer. It was 4deg F or less this past weekend. With the foil covered airbox,Excell cold intake and fan reversed my average intake air temp is at 16 deg F. I am liking it so far. Warm weather testing is called for though. FYI there is a cheap tool that can be bought for under $10 to remove the wires from WeatherPack connectors. Any auto store will have it. Great simple idea Stingray sometimes those are the best kind! Testing will continue on my end.

Oh and it works great for the poor Nytro guy who's handwarmers suck! Rock will be getting another sale for sure.
