Amount of gear lube.

I am having a little trouble trying to search for how much gear lube to put in an 06 Attak with reverse. I thought I read somewhere that it needs 8.5 ounces but if I put that much in won't it be above the reverse line on the dipstick and be closer to the standard line?? Is there a problem if there is to much oil in the reverse case??

Thanks for the help. Would like to take care of this tonight, supposed to get ridable snow here tomorrow and would like to be ready for the trail again.

8.5 oz is correct, or 250ml, this should be stated on your drive belt cover/guard sticker if you don't have a manual. Too much lube will pewk out around the dipstick opening.
