Just in the middle of replacing my drive shaft and putting in the BOP bearing with set screws.
On the old shaft - I noticed the groove where the inner snap ring fits on the shaft - was quite sloppy.
Compared to a new shaft mine was over 0.5mm wider (which is huge).
Has anyone else seen this? With the shaft spinning on the bearing - does it also spin that snap ring and wear the groove out?

Hmmm, interesting. Never seen or heard of that.
