No luck over at the 2-stroke side so I figured I'd try here.
Installed a 121" ZX2 in my 01 SRX. No problems with the install. Set everything to Boivin specs. Lowered sled to the floor and (take a look at photo 1 & 2). The whole back end of the track and skid are way in the air. Over 2". When I sit on the sled the suspension collapses about 2" yet the rear still stays in the air.
First obvious thought is to raise the front end. Which I intend to do. Adding viper shocks. But I doubt it will be a resolve. I raised the front end with a jack to a point where the skis were over 3" off the ground before the back end leveled out. (see last photo).
I'm woried that this suspension will not work on my SRX without major front end mods. I ordered this directly through Jeff at AD Boivin. He asked what it was going on so I assume they have installed one without issue. I'm awaiting a response from him.
Any of you guys have any thoughts?

Hi zachalyse
Just ask the Expert !
On the SRX Chassis, you have to uncouple the suspension to the last hole because those chassis are the older style. go to the last hole on the coupling of the revolver, everything will be perfect and be ready to get impress because the SRX rock with the ZX-2, you won't beleive the difference!
You have to realise you are making a time change with a time machine right now. let me know after you try it !

Put more preload on the front shock if the front end is low, check the front end also when you pick up the front bumper, remove the sag there and uncouple the revolver system.
let it rock after that and i really want so feed back because i know you will be a happy man!

Jeff, Thanks for the reply. I just uncoupled it ans set it on #5. This got me half way to the groung but it is still in the air quit a bit. Is this typical.
Funny thing was, when I tried to uncouple it, the revolver released and spun half way around to the top. At this point it sat flat.???
I should be getting to the front end tomorrow. With any luck I'll give it a rip in the afternoon.

When you sit on it, does it get flat ?
How much sag to you have in the front end when you pick it up, before the ski lift off the ground ?
The revolver spun because the of the preload from the front of the suspension. Try raising your front end, it seem low to me from the picture.
On the SRX, you will have a little more coupling due to the older style chassis. As long when you seat on it , it get flat. we are in the ball park.
Try it out and get back to me !!!

Added Viper shocks to bring the front end up. Widened the front end 2". Cranked the springs up to remove sag. Now it sits pretty good and I now have the stiff backend issue everyone else is talking about.
So, since this is typical, I'd say all is good. I'll be taking my first run in a couple days.
For those with the stiff cbackend concern. Prior to raising my front end I was pretty soft, so it appears that this is a direct result to front end adjustments.

It was soft because the angle of the skid was set up like it was on a bump. Should be good now. Mine is rick hard in the garage but does compress when I jump on it. I can see where people were worried, can't wait to ride it hopefully this week!

The turbo is about done and ready to ride. I will take it out for a test ride tomorrow morning. My ZX-2 is flat on the ground, I have 50 lbs in my Fox Floats up front. When I sit on it, it compresses 1-2", I'm 98 kg or 215 lbs dressed up. When jumping on it sag is more like 3-4", shocks are in the #1 default setting, revolver are also in the default settings.
Will take the sled out tomorrow for a initial test. Need more snow to shake her down and see what she will do.
