As i mentioned earlier...the proof is in the puding! I saw a sled last year down cuz of PADS chewed up his hyfax/slides in the middle of nowhere...

I had about 8000 miles on them at this point!
The fins have no effect in Reverse because they are angled up for proper clearance.

Cut open the closed up holes and then fully clip the track.

A friend of mine, replaced his factory Rip-Saw track, with one that was fully open and clipped. It made no difference in hyfax wear.

I thought my hyfax was wearing way to fast, by the first 500 miles I was ready to change them. I left them alone and just changed them at 2000 miles. The wear seemed to stop after 500 miles.
