Any news from Big Moose? Who was top dog?

The guys who made it to the end had done their homework and had the best combo to hook up under marginal conditions. Congrats! There was
some impressive hardware in attendance!

The camera guy(sorry I forgot his name)also got alot of sled shots, I hope he posts.

Hey guys...I just got back home here in WNY. I/we (baggs66) had a great time at the shoot-out and afterwords at The Glenmore. Thanks to all who took part in putting this event together. Special thanks to Millstreet for leading us back to Old Forge at the end of the night (we would of got lost for sure without you). Rapeape was the guy taking all the photos. I as well took some photos and will post them soon.

Hats off to the winner of the shoot-out. What a final race it was and VERY close. What a rush standing at the finish line watching these two sleds just flat out hauling a$$. Very impressive!

Mbracing, nice to meet ya...next time we ride out by your way I will give you a buzz. Remember to ask your sister if she knows my brother Joe.

Baggs66 (Tim) said I was the last "stocker" standing. Does that make me the King of the Stockers? lol

Thanks again to all that played a part in this. I had a great time. Hopefully it will happen again next year.

Mark

yes aj the top 4 have free entry to the oneida lake king of the trail shootout on feb 23 and ardondick blue mine F1000 makes 223 hp on dynotechs dyno

I'm the one with S/C Apex with the custom hood scoop that took 5th the set up is a stage 1, running 10lbs. on 93 octane. Hats off to AJ and his dad, Job well done to putting this event together concidering the change in weather over the past 2 weeks. All seemed to go smooth and every body left in one piece! (I think). And congrats to the top dogs of the day! Did they have coolaid at the glennmore for the kid to go with the wings? Just kidding! Nice job!

Thanks to all we all had a good time. and the best Part was there was NO CRY BABIES! Look forward to doing it again.

Thanks again and ride safe!
Bob

That is a good running S/C you have bob. You took me out in the finals by 5 sled lengths. You ripped me bad out of the hole and I couldn't run you down. Congrates to you.

We will plan on doing this next year. same set up seemed to work well. But we have a year to plan and get some more feed back.

thanks
aj

Bob I promised that the top 4 get free entry into the Oneida Lake King of the trail excluding myself you are the 4th so u also have free entry into the king of the trail race

Guys,

What a great time. AJ, Art, Vince, and everyone else...great job. It was fun to see some real trail sleds haul some serious #*$&@. I was really impressed with Mark's Big HP Apex. That thing was really smooth on the trails for 350+ HP. I rode next to him part of the way and couldn't belive that thing was a big HP sled...til I saw him race.

After talking to Mark Tangas for a minute, I figured he was a pre-race favorite. I've also seen Landon race his S/C FX Nytro and figured he'd be in the hunt. That kid probably does have more experience than most of us. And yes, he probably weighs less than my gear bag.

At first I must admit that I was rooting against Vince and his Big Firecat. After talking to his driver at Slickers and talking with Vince a little, He turned out to be pretty cool. And yes, that Cat hauls some serious tail. It was most impressive. I will have to admit that that Cat is right on the edge of being "trailable" though. :-o

It was really cool meeting many of you guys and hanging out. AJ and Art are the coolest guys from NJ that I've ever met snowobiling.

I'm tearing my sled apart this morning to figure out my oil leak. I may be a little lucky...It actually started pouring out later that night...so, I'm hoping it's just and oil filter problem...and not a wasted motor.

A.J. I'll let Jon know you said thanks. You guys did a great job. I think the event turned out exactly the way you and many of us envisioned.

Mike Wolf is a very good friend of mine we have raced together for years. I have seen his son "Landon" race sleds, motorcross, junior dragsters since he was 5 years old he races year round. Landon's personal trail sled is a Nytro with a supercharger so he has some seat time on fast sleds. ps Mike's sled had a trail track with trail studs. Shawn ;)!

Shawn,
Do me a favor and pass along to Mike and the Wolfe Pack a congratulations on a great race from the Full Power Performance camp... ;)!
i don't know how to get ahold of him.

Thanks,

Mauri

Generally I would have raised the front suspension up in the air but I forgot the pump at home

Just got back from Old Forge , First I want to thank everybody for showing up . I know the conditions were not the best but what the hell,it was still a good time. Best of all was meeting all you guys and double thanks to those who jumped in and helped, The start guy was actually just told about our little event at the Ski-Doo dealer in town that morning.
Congrats to the winner (no matter how old he was) the kid can ride a sled, and his father approves and so be it.Gonna do it again next year for sure.
Art, AJ, and Damian( I still think he was afraid to show up with his Ski-Doodle ha. ha.) ;)!

Not afraid just a nitrous malfunction and work. Will be ready next year to spank some butt.
