My buds dealer installed turbo used a lot of gas last year. Could barely make 100 miles. Just curious if it should be a concern given how much we will likely hit the flipper.

I am also interested in hearing what you guys think it will get for miles per tank. I definitely hope it's going to be more then 100 miles per tank. I ride with all skidoos and they get amazing fuel mileage. And with some of the riding we do it's 100 + miles per fuel stops.

I think every answer you're going to get is "how you ride". I can HONESTLY say that EVERYBODY who rides with me and KEEPS up, will get about the same mpg or less than my '07 Apex. I'm betting this motor is very efficient at normal speeds in a lighter than Apex chassis. The problem will be my OCD with acceleration & that little plastic "flipper of joy"

During testing, it was getting about the same as the vipers; Mid teens

I know it's a different motor but my 225 hp boosted cat when ran hard would get 12-13 which was the same my buddies Axys 800 got . When cruising I would get 14 mpg. I would expect this new Yamaha should see 13 to 15 mpg.

That gives me some measure of comparison which I could live with. My 2011 Apex with PCV, intake and clutching can get at least 130 miles. The only reason I know, I'm usually turning back to get the ones who run out of gas. They must have mapped his sled really rich fearing detonation or something. If just doesn't seem right. And my Apex takes him which I don't think should be the case.

My GT PP gets 26.

I have 390 mile so far and averaging 11 mpg mixed conditions no deep powder what are others seeing?

Just rode 70 miles and used 4.93 gallons. Groomed trail riding kinda hard saw 100mph a few times. So just just under 14mpg.

14 is doable. That would put you in 120 range b4 you start to get nervous.

make sure you burp the tank when filling to get in max gal.
