I read this on another site:
"I asked the yamaha rep about the fox floats. I asked why they wern't on more sleds and he said that they retain to much heat to be on the ditch banger sleds. The the htg's are better for that he said"

I just checked on this with Yamaha and whoever you spoke to was wrong. The Fox Floats are designed for Rough Trails this is their best application due to light weight and awesome anti bottoming.
