I am going through the front suspension on my new to me 2007 Rage. I wanted to inspect the bushings on the left side because I saw some slop in the lower A-arm bushing at the bulkhead. I started to take the ski spindle off the A-arm and the bolts are rusted so bad in the assembly that I needed an impact just to spin them (with the nut already off). I can't even knock them through with a hammer. I don't want to heat anything because of the plastic bushing and the painted surfaces. I don't know if I can get penetrating oil in there because there are really no gaps and the shaft is horizontal so gravity won't help. Any suggestions or similar experiences? :dunno:

I had the same problem, the bolt was bent on my right side so I had to beat the heck out of it in a vise with a punch to get it out! Amazingly the bushing was still good but the bolt was twisted and had to be replaced. I actually put the bolt head in a vise and used the a-arm for leverage and twisted and pounded. Took alot!

After I get this apart and fixed I will definitely be pulling these bolts out at the end of every season and greasing them !!!
