I just purchased this off eBay and was wondering if any of you guys have installed it and what you think of it. This is the all stainless version that looks a little bigger than the current black/stainless one.

I have one on my 14 3200 miles so far looks great. rpms went up so I changed my clutching a bit. The guys I ride with know when I come up on there rear bumper by my sound. Easy access to the chain adjuster

I have installed one for this upcoming season......so no review but am interested in the reply's here
The one in pic in first post is a newer one. Can see they really reinforced it from original. Buddy was running original and the outlet pipe fell out. We had to macgyver it to avoid melting the plastic and make the 100mi trip home. Glad they improved it. They should have warrantied it but did not.

How much louder are they then stock?
It's not much louder with just the can. Nobody will complain.

I ran that can all last season and sold it when I got a turbo! It had a bark but still had no issues with police checks. Gained about 200 rpm but only had 1600k when I sold it.

I have a few questions for you guys. 1. Why is mine all stainless and the one in the picture and most others I see is black and stainless? Are they the same?
2. I am not experienced with clutches, do I need to change mine because of the minor rpm increase?
3. If I go back to my dealer for service or warranty should I put the stock one back on? Does this affect Y.E.S.?
4. Should I buy a copper gasket for switching back and forth?
Thanks for the replies, it is very helpful.

Mine was like yours, it's the latest version of better quality. You should be fine with stock clutching. Dealer shouldn't have a problem with it on there.

pipe rocks - pretty loud tho - adds power - took away about 8 pounds - i just increased the gear ratio instead of clutching as there way too low from factory - u can also loosen spring on secondary to 4 or 5 - i see over 100 all the time now. 105 tops.

I have the original, all stainless. Ran it all last season. No problems at all. Not that much louder, in fact unless you were parked by a stock one and they were idling, no one really knows. It does have a nice bark when you pin it and I did notice a little more speed and low end as well. Saves weight and you can get to the chain tensioner without removing it.
