Anyone running this exhaust package? What's your opinion on the performance? Can you still run 87 octane?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
Is it just a bolt on or are is there any mods to do to make it fit?

I am running the EVO header and muffler and absolutely love it! Always ran 87 octane and noticed power increase throughout the whole RPM range, but bottom end grunt is where it really made a huge increase.
From my standpoint of sound and decible readings, even with the header it is the quietest aftermarket system I have tried and heard.
Just bolt on and go, when I did it the 1st time, it took me about 1.5 hours and that was taking a break inbetween. Now, I can do it in under 45 minutes if need be. Once you have the wires and tank off a few times, you figure out a system and easy way to do it.

Use the search... NOS-Pro and Canondale are running it and they have both talked about it.

Cannondale is also running the EVO system
For me I added 3.9g of weight to get same rpm as without the header and Excell can. Running this system smoothed out the power. I no longer have a hit in midrange but still have no trouble breaking the back end loose around corners anytime I want. Nice deep tone. Quietest I have heard so far.
Bad news is the tab for spring on silencer hit the oil separator hose fitting hard. I had to cut it off and drill a new hole. This would be bad if it was run like that. Also the header shield would not fit over the header. Had to pound and reform shield to make it fit. I think the header to head bolts should be longer since header flange is twice as thick as stock. Lastly the copper exhaust gasket I.d. Is way to small and had to be ground out to have proper flow. System was drop shipped so maybe it missed inspection. All these were told to EVO and hopefully corrected in future. I could have sent it back but made it work myself. We made a deal for gears. System is beautifully made but in my case did not fit. The concern EVO showed over the flaws when pointed out gained them a customer for the future. I am happy.

Thanks guys for your feedback!! The fit and finish of the product looks great! I looked into it to ship to Canada, the extchange rate and the added duty fees puts this set up well over 2000$.

I have both installed as well and other than the mount rubbing the oil line ( I grinded it down for clearance) everything else is great. Pricy but definatly a quality product.

Using them with 87 octane gas has not been a problem either

Is the exhaust very loud?
I don't have it, my buddy Yamahadan has it and said he's had no issues with police if that's your concern. ( I have the Nytro kit ). The 16" muffler is pretty quiet and you can always add a noise reducer that knocks off a few db and takes the sharp pitch out of it. Dave's kits work very well, my buddy says his Viper LTX SE pulls hard in the mid and runs 100 mph in pretty much any condition....he's happy with it, I'll see if he'll chime in.
