Just wondering If anyone is running the Evolution Power Sports flashes? Curious about the 2nd stage VIPER flash, 91 octane, stock exhaust, 9800rpm with air box mod. From 132hp to 148hp

I'll add my 2 cents since know one has posted yet.

I think the free air box mod and a better flowing quiet exhaust will be worth more your while. Spend the money else where for your sled, extra wheels on the skid, clutching components or a clutch kit if you don't like to monkey around with the stuff too much. Evo's tune probably does make a difference....But how much of a difference. I was thinking the same thing a while back and did alot of reading and searching on this site, I can't find where Evo tuned vipers are setting records or producing higher mph speeds vs other. People who ride down the trail everyday, I don't think should be too concerned with a tune.

If I was racing drags or hill cross and losing to vipers....I'd try the tune.

I'd focus more on setting up with what you got, these sleds are frican animals.

I'm running Stage 4. With the air box mod, Straightline header, and can, this added 400 rpm WOT so I know it's making power. Also improved low end and mid range. Raising rev limiter is also a benefit of the EVO flash. I couldn't be happier and will be upgrading the XTX in the near future.

I'm on the fence about the 2.75 Evo flash for next year, just the rev limit bump might be worth it as I can't seem to tune the "hitting the limiter at launch" out of my XTX. Mine seems to run great with just the Can and Airbox mod with the exception of a COLD start here or there, fuel mileage seems better than most too.

I just feel there is more potential in the motor, Ive done the clutch with the thunder products kit, and its been my experience that any changes to exhaust, intake etc... must be compensated for with ecm programming. I know that was key to unlocking the gains on my CR450 EFi. It feels as though the viper falls on its face at 80 mph range and just creeps up there after that. I would do the EVO flash but the amount they are charging for it is ridiculously high!

I got the stage 4 flash this year and added a ulmer header and schmitt brothers air box filter inserts. the low and mid is very beefy but have not had a chance to test top out yet due to lack of snow. im heading to munising on the 7th and will report back with my findings.
