It’s less than half mile from my house! There are ghosts of pistons past still haunting this crick til this day! That sure looks fast, especially with what looks like a bit of water on top of that ice!
A spot like that, which allows you to really unleash all of it’s potential speed, is something we all hope for on every ride!

Better late than never. She roars again. Rode a lot of moguls in Maine yesterday.Helmet with visor is not a good idea on a Winder.

Reminds me of the 1970's when clutches were blowing up at the race tracks just revving them up in the pits. Mandatory clutch gaurds after that.
These things should never blow up a clutch with today's technology!

If the sled was tuned you have no case IMO.. Not saying the STOCK ones aren't blowing apart, but we all know the manufacture will look for any out they can for casting imperfections/clutches coming apart. If someone dies they might feel a obligation to do something. SadI know i am and i don’t want to... BUT...

They can't deny there is a engineering flaw in the team primaries..If the sled was tuned you have no case IMO.. So far I seen 2 600 cats and 2 800 with blown up primaries and countless cat 998's stock and tuned
So it's not isolated the 998

Sorry, don't want to continue hijack, I have pics of over 30 Cats with blown up Team clutches. Stock and tuned. Mileage as low as 1500 and some over 4000. I submitted at least 15 or so as evidence when I filed an official complaint with Consumer Product Safety Commission AND Arctic Cat. last year. I heard back from CPSC in Dec. 2020 stating they had officially notified AC and that Cat is REQUIRED to respond within 120 days.
Did you notice Cat announced all-new Team clutches for 2022? Does anyone think there is a connection between the two?

Possible.. I would like to think the clutches they are bringing to market this year were developed BEFORE that.. I would like to think anyway.Sorry, don't want to continue hijack, I have pics of over 30 Cats with blown up Team clutches. Stock and tuned. Mileage as low as 1500 and some over 4000.
