Alot of people just bought the wrong model RTX instead of the base model. If you ride hard and fast the RTX is for you,if you trail ride and aren't that hardcore the base Nytro would have been the better pick.Another example of the consumer not really knowing what sled would better suit there riding style, but instead go for what would be the cool factor even though it's more than they need or can use.

I agree. I only bought the FX nytro RTX because my dealer gave me an incredible deal on it. A guy bought it and killed himself. He never rode it. Dealer thought it was cursed.

I also agree. I called about a regular fx nytro and the dealer acidently quoted me the price for a regular one minus 500, mistakeing it for being on promotion. When he realized that what he did, he tried to back out of it, but I was there and preaproved so he had to honor it. Again, not what I was looking for, but I was pretty happy! I figured I'd just have to turn into a harsher rider and get used to the sled I bought!

Maybe for some but I have been riding Rev MXZ-x race sleds ever since they came out in 03, so doubt that is the case for me, those things are sprung stiff and worked well for me...
Just noticed I get more arm pump than I ever have before while ditchbanging. I have never ridden with Floats before and this is my first 4-stroke so it is either from the Floats or the arm stretching torque these things have...
For the front I am either going to try one of those external reservoir kits for the Floats or my Rev remote reservoir shocks.
I actually think my rear skid is too soft for ditch riding but great for the trails, a Hygear revalve is coming soon...

I bought the standard FX Nytro and now that I have 500km on it rides smooth and is still stiffer than my REV X 800. For my riding style I am glad I bought the standard one rather than the RTX, I am an aggersive trail rider not a snow crosser.
