I think I'm going to do this, just haven't seen much of anything mentioned about it. Not interested in changing skis or diffent carbide makes, just want input from guys that have tried this combo. Did you loose any speed, did you still use the outside carbide to help ski wear? Running 6.9's happy for the most part but would like to tweek it a bit.
Even though i have 5.7 pilots i think results would be the same. The aggressive trackers are without a doubt the best investment I've ever spent on the sled.Virtually zero darting, Best steering I've ever had, and reasonably light steering. I did keep an outside carbide on, but its not really needed. The only drawbacks are weight of the units and they do stick pretty good on assphalt or trying to move sled around in garage. The positives far outwiegh these small issues. I've never had semi-agressive ones so i cant coment on those. In about 500 miles I've noticed very little wear, maybe an sixteenth off center bar, even though conditions were pretty good for those miles. I used to not want newbies to go for a ride because of the twitchyness in some conditions, now anyone can ride it with no worries. They made the machine the ultimate cruising machine, with the ability to really hang it out with the accurate steering. Even though their pricey, you wont be dissipointed.

Did you notice any difference in your top end?
I didn't want to drill the extra holes in the skis if there were going to be issues. Thanks for the confidence boost, there is a couple of weeks of snow left around here I hope, so I guess I'm gettin'out the drill!!!

I'm afraid i cant comment on top-end,as conditions were not ideal for any good lake running. If i were to guess i would say i might lose a couple mph if any . On loose snow conditions they do drag a little, but nothing to effect handling. On really hardpack i didnt notice any drag at all. Dont be concerned with the drilling of holes. Its very minor drilling that should not affect ski durability. You drill one hole in front of ski at an angle, and just straighten out the excisting 45 degree holes in stock skis that the stock rods go into. I too was concerned at first with this but you barely have to straighten out thest existing angled holes. The trackers almost go in without drilling. So i dont think it will be a problem if i ever want to go with stock rods. They come with little spacers that compensate for the new straight rod compared to angled stock ones, for nut will seat flush.Good luck.

I put snow trackers on my 5.7's and love them. I didn't notice any top end loss and the handling is great. My 15 year old daughter has since inherited the sled and has no issues riding it as well. So great affordable upgrade in my opinion.
