The Trail tank from CCLLC is available now from what I hear. Production was this last Weds and some should be rolling out. I was curiuos if anyone has received theirs and what is the fit and finish like? Could some post a pic of their installed trail tank from CCLLC. I am looking at purchasing one, but wanted a little feedback from owners. Thanks TY members.

I havent heard anything yet either? however they should be available soon .I believe he said mid feb they'd be ready to be shipped???

I called Seth at Composit Creations. They were starting production this past Weds, Feb 20/08. I figure this week they will start shipping and shortly after some TY members will have them installed. It will be interesting to hear the comments on fit and finish, installation, and what owners think. Please post?

There is no question, that I would have ordered the larger tank over the tour buddy had it been available.
If the reports of the 10 Gallon tank are over-all positive, I may give it a bit of thought.
I wonder how many Nytro riders on the rock may be interested in a possible group buy?

I would possibly be interested in a group buy.
I'm in the throws now between keeping my RTX and stretching it or if I can get out of it for not too much cake on a trade onto an XTX. Either way the tank should still work.
I don't think you would get much of a break on price as these will be in hot demand and shipping something so large in bulk to this island might be more expensive?
Either way, 28 L no longer cuts it for me.

OK fellow Rockers, I will wait for the reviews to come in and then see what interest there is on the island and of course our buddies in Labrador. We could even include our friends in NS if they are interested.
I can then contact the manufacturer and see what they may be willing to do for a summer order.
I highly doubt that there is any way we could get on the list and have the tanks here in time to be of any use for this season.

My face was a bit red when the coordinates led me to "Mobile" Newfoundland.

It would be a great summer/fall project, and I am very interested in the extra range. I don't know what Yamaha was thinking. I almost didn't buy the sled on the tank issue alone.

If you remove your gaz tank make sure to order new fuel pump gasket because it expand and it is very hard to put back

Hey guy's, I am considering the XTX which I am looking forward to seeing at the show here in Winnipeg on April 6, 2008. I am used to having a 10.6 gallon tank. With all this talk about an after market fuel tank what kind of milage are you guy's really getting out of the 7.4 gallon tank with fairly aggressive riding. Say the average is between 55 to 80 MPH? Any help would be appreciated looking to move to team blue this year although the tank size is a concern.
