The studboy deuce bars work the best with stock ski's on the Apex IMO.

I have run the Woody's Dually's and although better than stock, not ideal on my ATTAK. Worked well on my Apex. Has anyone had any experience on the ATTAK using Bergstrom's with Ski Savers?
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
I ran the Bergstrom tripple points shims and ski savers stopped darting completely handled great for while but they seemed to lose there sharp edge on roads after 1000 mi couldnt beat them on hard pack thinking 0f running stud boy duece bars next I have heard good things but wouldnt mind hearing thoughts on themShane said:I have run the Woody's Dually's and although better than stock, not ideal on my ATTAK. I use Studboy 6" Shaper bars with berstrom ski savers on C&A ADV Skis.
I just ordered another pair of the ski savers after 4000 miles and they skis look GREAT.
The Shaper bars last longer than the Woodys for me on Michigan trails. No missing carbide and wear great.

I totally agree. I have the 6" dueces with no studs and between upgrading to these cabides, and pulling my limiter strap up one role, it transformed the sled!
I really like the way it handles now. It inspires confidence going into turns. No darting at all, and they seem to not be wearing as much as I would have thought either.

I have them, I didnt shim at all either. I did pull up my limiter strap up one hole though. I do not have any darting issues, and it doesnt push much in the turns. I have a Stock Apex LTX GT, no studs. the only thing not stock is a nose bag, hand guards with mirrors and a windshield bag.
I love the way my sled handles for how heavy it is! Those stud boy 6" duallies really changed the dynamics of how the sled handles IMO. I have 800 miles on them, mostly in really good conditions. But I got caught having to run on some pavement and thought I smoked my left side bars, but they didnt seem to wear much at all compared to the other side which was in snow.
I have a new to me 09 Apex LTX GT with 6" cobra head carbides. Added 5/16" rubber shims today mid-ride and it really glued the skis. Virtually NO darting. Steering effort is a little harder but well worth it. Set the transfer rod between Standard and Min and rear ohlins rebound force (balck knob) at 18. May try to add more weight transfer for better hookup under acceleration with 108 studs down the middle.
