Apex Dash ???

Can anyone tell me if the screws circled in red are removed, will any fasteners fall out from behind? This pic was stolen from a post by markddapexgt and modded for my ??

Nothing will fall it screws into a plastic boss

There are metal clips that the screws go into. Yes, they can fall off. When you put them back on, make sure you press them back together so they fit tight against the plastic.

If memory serves, you can reach them by removing the side panel and reach up in there. You'll have to go by feel, but I am pretty sure you can.

Sorry to hear that. Here's a couple places to look as I have lost 1 or 2 before.

Depending which side fell, look along the bulk head ( Under chaincase or under secondary ) I have found them in there, or remove the inspection plate. I have found bolts and clips in there as well that i have dropped.

I slightly pryed apart the right bottom dash piece. I found it. It only dropped down about 3-4 inchs and sat on? Got it with a stick magnet.

Same thing happend to me once. When ever your working on the Apex and you hear something fall and you don't get the report of it hitting the concrete below, your stomach instantly sinks. All you can do is think NOOOOOOO!

i lost one off the side headlight into the VOID and never did find the damn thing. i even pressed them together but slid off when i was putting it back on. stupid me. lol.
