When I start my apex when its cold it idles fine,But when its warmed up and I start it idles fine for about 5 second then shuts off. If I start it and take off right away or give it gas it runs fine. What could be the problem?

The FI sleds have cold start built in which cause sleds to idle high til coolant reaches certain temp. After that it drops down to the idle stop screw. Perhaps your idle stop screw just need to be adjusted.

But it does not idle low. It idles just how it should right around 1500 rpm then dies like someone hit the kill switch but starts right up. I think Iam going to check the check valve.
