Apex flex pipes work on Nytro?

5100 miles, and on the last ride of the season. It got really loud and backfires so i cracked her open and found 2 of the 3 flex pipes broke and cracked, can I replace them with pipes off of my buddy's Apex that he had wrecked that is an 09 and my nytro is an 08. Are they the same length and OD?

No they are a different Dia. pipe. I have 2 extras at my shop.

U can get them to work if you bore out the flange holes and then you have to use the same clamps on the head pipe from the Apex. You also have to cut the excess off the pipe that stick past the gaskets.

They can be worth the time. The race sleds used them with an aftermarket header.

The Apex pipes are a smaller diameter.

I have some nytro flex pipes if you want something that bolts right on.

has any one used the apex flex pipes? i have 4 apex ones and need one for my nytro. at this point im not worried about loosing a bit of hp. is it the bolt holes that need to be bored bigger mr sled ?

The holes need to be bored bigger and the Dia at the donut side is different size. It can work with the other size clamps.
