Anyone suffer from a frozen fuel switch? Turn the key and the injectors do not prime.

Yes, fuel pump relay. They can freeze, apparently. I've not had that happen, but for $15 I bought an extra one and carry it in my pocket. Alternatively, you can pull the frozen one, put it in your pocket to warm it up, then reinstall it and ride.06apexak said:Anyone suffer from a frozen fuel switch? I finally had the frozen relay problem during my week in QC. My fuel pump was running but the starter wouldn't engage. I found I could warm it up enough just by covering it with my bare hand and cranking the key. The starter relay is the outside left one. I think the fuel pump relay is the 3rd from the left (but not sure). Dealer gave me a new one.

The fuel pump relay is the 2nd from the outside of the sled.

Here on TY and other forums, I've seen the fuel pump relay being described in every single one of the 4 possible positions. I conclude that there isn't a standard position. I pulled each of the three 8FP relays and turned the key until I found out which of them was the fuel pump relay on MY sled.
