you are correct ;)!

Did you check or did you know ?

P.S. Trails are shapping up nice in Manitoba, I did Beusajour to Lac Du Bonnet to Bird Lake and back all groomed and good to go. The boys & girls are on the ride-for-rehab right now that does a huge loop from Gimli through the Whiteshell and back to Gimli, and I heard from one of the riders it is mint !

 ;)!

Interesting why it would not adjust with ignition on only when engine is running ?

all of the aux power only comes on after the engine has full power to start. I think it has a relay or something.

APEX GT SHOCK DOESN'T CLICK ANYMORE

I HAVE A BUDDY WHO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM-- OUR DEALER CALLED YAMAHA AND THEY HAD A FEW THINGS CHECKED OUT AND CAME TO THE CONCLUSION SOMETHING WAS WRONG AND SENT A NEW SHOCK--YES IT IS $1800 AND IF IT IS NOT BROKE YAMAHA WILL NOT WARRANTY IT!! WHEN THE NEW SHOCK ARRIVED THE DEALER TOOK THE SPRINGS OFF BOTH SHOCKS TO COMPARE THEM SIDE BY SIDE. AFTER CLOSER INSPECTION THEY REALIZED IT IS POSSIBLE TO SPIN THE KNOB FARTHER THAN IT WILL CLICK-- ACTUALLY YOU CAN SPIN IT TWO AND A HALF FULL REVOLUTIONS AND IT WILL STOP. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS!! WHEN YOU HIT THE STOP, START TWISTING THE KNOB THE OTHER DIRECTION ABOUT THREE REVOLUTIONS AND IT SHOULD START CLICKING AGAIN. THERE IS ONLY ABOUT 2 REVOLUTIONS OF CLICKS AND YOU WILL HIT THE OTHER STOP ON THE CLICK END. FOR SOME REASON THERE IS A DEAD RANGE IN THE KNOB WHERE IT BASICALLY DOES NOTHING AND THE SLED WILL RIDE LIKE A POGO STICK. YOU WOULD BE AMAZED TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE TWO OR THREE CLICKS MAKES WHEN THE SPRING IS NOT INSTALLED!! YAMAHA IS NOW AWARE OF THE NON-CLICKING SITUATION SO YOUR DEALER WILL PROBABLE BE TOLD THERE IS NOTHING WRONG.

I did not turn the adjuster before removing the spring so it is only 4 turns tighter than stock setting.. BUT DOES NOT CLICK!!

The wire broke on the shock.. thats why they are replacing it... Yamaha told my dealer to do what ever it took to make me happy...

Welter, did you check your shock in the middle of a ride, or after a rough section? Mine felt fine in the garage, but out on the trail, it was clearly toasted after it heated up.
