Apex Guage Cluster fit on '05 RX-1

Just curious, can you put one of the new clusters on an RX-1? I looked up the price of a new cluster from Yamaha and it is in the ballpark of $500 but if I do come across a cluster from a wreck I am wondering it it would be worth trying. I think they look really sharp>

I would love to swap mine for the apex one as well, bump for a awnser or anybody got a spare we could try out and see how it works? I'm assuming not as it has some many functions built in for the rear electric ohlins shocks, clock, etc. Be nice to see if the plugs would even match up.

I have both but I am a bit lazy these days... will check connections if they are the same... not sure I want to try connecting although... dont wanna risk frying it.
