Hey Guys - I am looking at upgrading to an Apex and was wondering what some of the most common issues are.
I have a Phazer now so I am fully aware of the problems that come with this - ice build up, sloppy steering and difficulties going into reverse.
Does the Apex have any similar type problems?
Thanks!!!!!

I came from a phazer also.
Apples and oranges
Apex starts better than phazer due to decompression. However, stock apex fuel pump relay is junk. Get new red one
Apex stock skis and single carbide combination is junk. Get woodies duallies as minimum.
Apex exhaust donut clamps wear prematurally. Once you hear backfire, they need replacing. Check them every season or 2.
Apex slider wheels are set too high causing premature slider wear. Replace with Dupont sliders. They last almost indefinitely.
Apex is scary compared to phazer...too fast. No cure for that.
Enjoy the addiction.

on my 2012 xtx the rear shocks are too stiff for smaller to medium trail junk and jiggers, so shocks are going to get a re-valve and I really want to get the 2" wrp seat kit after that I think it will be dream sled haha. apex will wear you down on those big bump days on tug hill but when it is flat or semi smooth it is an awesome sled to be on.

Never had a problem with mechanical reverse--actually prefer it to electric reverse. A-arm bushings last about 1k miles. If you run stock skis get triple points. Wheel drop kit from Pioneer will cure hyfax wear and make it roll easier. Get ear plugs. Hang -on!!!!!
