I have the handlebar mounted set on mine. The brackets as a little weak, but the mirror location and steadyness are good.

My experience is you want mirrors that you look straight at, if they are mounted so you need to look down they generally don't work very well.

I agree (for me) hand mirror is the way to go. I've been using this for the past 15 years now. The only negative is... if you go riding in Quebec you need to have "fixed" mirrors on the sled. There's even talk about introducing the same legislation here in NB.

Use Yam handlebar mounted mirrors that were late to the party but work well. I used aftermarket mirrors but sucked use Yam handlebar mounted mirrors & will be aok. ;)!

love my handle bar mount mirrors just had to rebuild the mounts out of steel.

How can Quebec dictate that you need Mirrors on a sled that is registered and plated in another province? Seems absurd. Quebec has a law that all Vehicles have Winter tires, but they can't fine me for having all seasons on an Ontario plated Vehicle while driving on Quebec roads....seems to be the same principle to me....If your Sled is plated in a province that does not require mirrors, then I can't see how Quebec can enforce no mirrors..........

I don't have mirrors and ride in Quebec, not on the trail system that often mind you.

I bought a set of Polaris ATV mirrors for 40 bucks that clamp onto my bars on my 07 Apex RTX, and they work great. The good part is it doesn,t say Polaris anywhere on the mirrors, so it doesn,t make my sled slower. LOL

with having skinz wind guards i opted for a universal but sturdy set off of amazon and mounted to top of both side panels....they sit fairly high and the only reason i need them is to see if im losing my friend trying to follow me. :sled1:

I ordered the kit for my 2015 apex . The directions kinda sucked and I didnt want to drill the holes. I went with the powermadd sentinels with flip up mirror. They work but all you can make out is a headlight behind you when your moving.
