apex purolater pure one oil filter PL146010 3.5 " or PL14612 2.5"

i read a article were they cut oil filters apart and examined them inside . the results is that the filters listed above were much better then the Yamaha stock filter 5GH-13440-00 . I have used the pure one Purolator filer listed above on my Yamaha fz6 street bike , Yamaha 50 hp four stroke outboard, Polaris 570 quad. no problems . so anyone tried these ? what do you think ? I actually am not trying to save $ , I want the best filter . I run Mobil one 0-40 European formula 100% syn oil in my apex for many years. has worked great.
