Anyone know of a way to increase the rev limiter without a tuner?

I want to be able to run around 11500 to 11800 on the bottle.

I wonder if the stock fuel system is mapped that high?

I was told 11200 but on the tach it reads 11500. I was told that the ECU cuts spark but not fuel. That would explain the popping exhaust when I hit the limiter.

11,200 every tach may read a little different. The ECU interupts the ignitioin.
