Just bought an 2012 Apex Se With the fox floats. Just wondering what I can do asides for pumping my shocks to beef up my suspension. I’m about 320 without my gear.

Before I spent any Money I would just pump them up and try as the air is an adjustable spring rate. Lots of big guys out there on Apex’s seem to be doing well.

That shock is a pile of crap.. it will never hold the weight and even worse it will take him an 8 hour day to fill it with a hand pump.

Oh I never knew that they were that bad. Are they worse than the Viper Fox air shocks? I wasn’t aware they were that bad.

i tend to only check the air in mine once a season on the singleshot as it does take almost 30 min for me to get up to the pressure i need. still not sold on how this suspension behaves as my 11 rides and handles much better for how i ride.

i know. got it riding good atm (thanks btw) but struggling to get it to transfer.

I had a mega float in a 06 rtx and liked it after the HyGear volume Spacer and revalve. Also put the dual chambers on the fronts. Had I working good and I weigh 320 too
